Internet settings

IMPORTANT - READ!

Contact the support at your web hotel to obtain from the required information for the program internet settings. Your web- /domain account shall be of LINUX or UNIX type, the most of accounts used today are and the account also need to have Perl script support.

Web account details, on the right common or default values:










("yourdomain.com" shall be replaced with the own domain name.)


1. Open Internet settings from the menu "Publish", and the menu option "Internet settings".

1. Type in the name of your FTP-host, FTP-server.
2. Type in your FTP username.
3. Type in your FTP password for your FTP user.
4. Field for FTP port, default is 21. Change the value if your web host uses a different port for FTP.
5. Path to the web; HTML-page root folder on your account on the server. The path is very often "/public_html", please check this with your web host.
6. Name on the folder that the newsletter program can use to store data on the server.
7. Name on the perl and CGI-script folder on your web account. Often the name of this folder is "cgi-bin".
8. Give execution permissions for the perl scripts on the account. Normal value used is "755". Please ask your web host.
9. Fill in this field your home page URL; address. The complete address, beginning with "http://" and also with the finishing "/" sign.
10. Perl path for your account, please ask your web host.
11. Sendmail path for your account, please ask your web host.
12. In this field you can define an alternative default subject for newsletters in the program.
13. E-mail patch size, in this field is defined how many e-mails shall be sent in a row byt the program, the size of a patch. Then also the time-out value between every patch, time-out defined in seconds. 14. Sender e-mail address, fill here the sender e-mail address for your newsletters.
15. E-mail dublicates, option not to send newsletters to possible dublicate e-mail addresses in the subscriber lists. To only send one per e-mail address.

When the settings is correctly filled, click OK to save the internet settings.
